ABOUT KELLY SMITH
Kelly Smith is a multi-talented, inspirational coach, motivational speaker, healer, teacher and all-round visionary dynamo. She is active in the planetary movement of shifting mass consciousness from what limits us on an individual level–and ultimately a global level–to an ever-expanding abundance consciousness of limitless possibility. Her passion is directed primarily towards women and girls, who she sees as the answer to achieving this new reality for humanity. Kelly has a big, bold, dynamic vision which suits her sparkling, bigger than life Texan persona to a T: sharing her “bold, feminist leadership model for the new millennium.” She consistently walks her talk, fulfilling her dreams to make a difference.
From an early age, Kelly began learning how to escape the perceived traps she felt hampering her own empowerment. She rigorously searched for her own personal healing and growth by participating and leading in three humanitarian movements and teachings. As she puts it, she embarked on pursuing a PhD in life experience rather than fancy philosophies or concepts. It’s all about changing belief systems that humanity has accepted as reality–whereas reality is what you make it. Kelly is now directing all her enormous energy toward reaching women in all stages of their life journey–from young girls to young women leaving college and entering the world of work among men, to women who are considering a second career and beyond.
In Kelly’s first book, Jane in the Jungle, she shares her vision, her amazing personal journey and her steps to success. She has also created a vibrant ‘Jungle of Possibilities’ filled with resources for those wishing to join her in expanding, learning, developing and co-creating fulfilling, vibrant lives. She offers a new, abundant vision to women through her talks as a keynote speaker, online courses, videos and coaching, including vision board parties. She says, “Women are primarily motivated by having permission to be connected to who they truly are.” She supports Women in OWNING that they make a difference, are valuable and their voices matter, giving them the space to ‘go for it’ and own their place in the world. While she teaches, coaches, and shares, she is quick to point out that she is a work in progress and her own journey is an ongoing learning experience. She believes we all benefit from continued reminders of our Exquisite, Powerful nature.
Kelly’s mom taught her to always be independent and to always align with women, which is what led her to participating in her first world movement, Re-Evaluation Counselling. At age 25, she began leading in the area of Women’s Empowerment. What’s unique is that she created her entire career path based on her passion, natural talent and what she believed to be her life’s purpose. Her holistic approach to living led her to becoming a Massage Therapist and Reiki Master in 1997 and from there to a career in inspirational speaking. Her first speech was ‘The benefits of Massage’ which eventually evolved into ‘Soar to Success, Minus the Stress.’ Once she mastered delivering this speech, she sent a video to one of the largest seminar companies worldwide, Skillpath Seminars, landed a 9-year contract, and presented at Women’s Conferences, as well as communication seminars across the U.S.
Her body of work is all about women learning, internalizing and living the fact that they are powerful enough, they count enough. It’s about expanding their self-awareness and shifting from a mindset of lack and scarcity to one of incredible, bounteous, joyful abundance. As women do this, they come into their own and simultaneously, smoothly, establish their rightful place alongside men in society and take a loving leadership role in humanity as a whole. Thus, the movement with these individuals and global shift in consciousness is reinforced, strengthened, encouraged, promoted and undeniable.
Kelly sleeps, eats, thinks, and breathes her soaring vision. Her biggest motivators are her two grown sons, Collin and Nicholas. She believes her role model of ‘going for your dreams’ has the biggest impact as a Mom of her twenty-something sons. Two of her passions and hobbies are dance and supporting local musicians, and she will often attend hole-in-the-wall Blues and Country & Western venues in Houston, Texas. Her love for the outdoors, practicing yoga, going for walks and jogging at the local parks are a daily part of her life.
Kelly ends all her talks and videos with her signature ‘Jungle Call’. When someone pointed out to her that she sounded like Carol Burnett, Kelly realized its inspiration can be attributed inadvertently to having watched The Carol Burnett show with her Mom who loved the quirky Carol with her signature Tarzan call. The call is a fitting tribute to her Mom, the woman who inspired her feminist journey.
